How Can I Help You?

Do Good Media Services
  • So you have a nice site but who knows about it?

I can help your business or organization get found online. Some of my methods include Pay-Per-Click Advertising, Search Engine Optimization & Content Marketing.

  • Custom Wordpress themes built to your needs.

I can build your website on WordPress or another Content Management System (CMS) to give you the control you want to update your website - whenever you want.

  • If you have questions, then we really should talk.

My clients come to me with specific needs. Example: “I just want a simple way to sell my cookies online.” So I help them figure out the best way to resolve those needs. Solution: “Have you heard of Goodsie.com?”

  • I'll make it look good and make money for you too.

A lot of times I hear people say “I just want a simple site,” hoping to reduce design cost. While a site should be simple at its core, you must ask “Is this design gonna bring in money?”

About Do Good Media

Do Good Media (@isdoinggood) was founded by me, Jane Vora (@janeeats), in 2009. I have been building websites and honing the skills listed in the SlideDeck above for over 7 years.

My favorite thing about my work is seeing how I can make a huge, positive impact on small businesses, non-profits, and artists, who trust me with builidng their online presence.

When I’m not designing, coding, writing content, editing content, researching keywords, tweaking bids, or managing social media profiles, I like to climb, bike, eat, cook, and travel.

Why the name Do Good Media?

I am passionate about my work and helping others as much as I can. The name Do Good Media is based on two ideas - firstly to do good work and secondly to do good for others with the tools I’ve picked up from this industry.

Doing good for others in the past has included developing websites for non-profits at pro bono or discounted rates and participating in AIR Interactive (Austin) to promote accessible website design and development for people with disabilities. My team, Insane in the Mainframe, won 3rd place in the AIR Interactive 2010 Competition. I have also volunteered my time for Houston-based non-profits Community Family Centers and Janine’s Sarcoidosis Outreach Foundation to develop their online startegies and website, respectively.
